Camp Ginger Cascades School Year Weekend Events

We have events and activities to keep you busy all year long! School year weekend events include programs that serve individual girls, troops, families and friends, with a variety of activities for everyone.

To register for a weekend program event, register online or complete the Event Registration Form and Health Permission Form (only required for overnight programs). Mail the forms and full payment to:

International Adventure Day
Feb 11 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Girl Scout in another country? Head to Ginger Cascades for International Adventure Day to celebrate World Thinking Day! You will explore our World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts World Centers in Switzerland, India, Mexico, England and Africa. Try traditional dancing, make tasty treats and make crafts. You will learn about new cultures and the world around you. All troops must have the correct number of adults to adhere to Safety Activity Checkpoints. Individually registered girls must be accompanied by an adult. Fee includes snack. Girls will receive their GSUSA World Thinking Day patch.

GIRL FEE: $18
ADULT FEE: $15

Camp Sunshine Orientation/Informational Meeting

Camp Sunshine is a leadership opportunity for girls in grades 8-12. These older Girl Scouts work together as a staff to plan and facilitate an overnight camping experience for younger girls in grades 3-5, whom are not currently Girl Scouts. This REQUIRED orientation will give you an overview of the program, as well as information about how to apply for Camp Sunshine positions. The girl staff expands their leadership and organizational skills while designing and facilitating the program.

If selected, girls must be available to attend the following events at Camp Ginger Cascades:

March 18-19, 2017
April 22-23, 2017

ADULT FEE: Free

Camp Ginger Cascades Trail Blazers & Spring Cleaners
 Mar 25 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Grab your friends, parents, uncles, aunts, siblings and troop leaders, because we’re pitching in at camp! We’re looking for motivated helpers to join us for a fun day of clearing trails and tidying up camp. E-mail us if you’re interested in helping! All troops must have the correct number of adults to adhere to Safety Activity Checkpoints. Individually registered girls must be accompanied by an adult.
