Resident Camp

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont offers summer day camp programs at Camp Pisgah in Brevard, NC and Keyauwee Program Center (home of our Circle C Equestrian Center) in Sophia, NC. Campers will enjoy a variety of activities such as boating, swimming, crafts, hiking and much more. The safety of our campers is always our top priority.
All three of our resident camps are American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facilities that comply with over 300 standards. We are constantly monitoring current guidelines from the CDC and Health Departments and will continually update our COVID-19 Summer 2021 Guidelines and honor our Cancelation Policy. 
 
Girls can experience camp fun at home too! We have a robust lineup of Virtual Summer Camp programs and Kamp Kit Home Activity Boxes. 

Once you register you will receive an email with a packing list, parent information packets, links to the campership application form and our COVID policies, and your order receipt. 

 

Mini Camp Sessions

Mini Sessions (3 days/2 nights) are a great way for younger girls to get a taste of everything camp has to offer.  (select your preferred date to register!)

Grades 1-3: Make new friends, boat on the lake, and even build fairy houses on our nature hike. Don’t forget to spend an evening catching fireflies in the moonlight! 
Grades 4-5: Archery, boating, climbing, and singing camp songs are on the ‘must do’ list for camp. You will also go to arts and crafts and take a nature hike! 
 

Week Long Sessions

Join us at camp for 5 days (Sunday – Friday) and enjoy a $50 discount when you register before March 31. All week-long sessions at Keyauwee Program Center include a mounted horse experience at our Circle C Equestrian Center!  

Grades 2-3: Our favorite part of camp is making new friends. Join us this week to build friendships, boat on the lake, cook over a campfire, and search for fairies in the woods. There is no place like camp!
Grades 4-5: Want a taste of everything camp has to offer? This week is for you! Boating, archery, climbing, a campfire cookout, crafts, and songs are all in store. 
Grades 6-8: Want a taste of everything camp has to offer? This week is for you! Boating, archery, climbing, a campfire cookout, crafts, and songs are all in store.

Horse Programs (At Keyauwee Program Center)

Spend time every day at our Circle C Equestrian Center and enjoy some traditional camp activities when you register for a week-long horse program! Enjoy a $50 discount when you register before March 31. 

Grades 4-5: Learn all about horses this week!  You will spend half your day Monday-Friday at the barn, where your time will be split between a daily a riding lesson in the arena and on the trails, horsemanship skills practice and fun horse related crafts and activities. 
 
Grades 6-12: This week will be all about exploring the versatile world of Equestrian Sports.  Each day will focus on a different sport; you will ride in the arena, on the trails and finish the week with an Equestrian Competition.  In addition to your time in the saddle, each group of campers will be assigned a horse of their own to take care of, learn and practice their horsemanship skills on.
 

Leadership Programs

Want to see what it’s like to be a camp counselor? Our leadership programs will give you the training and confidence you need to keep younger girls safe and fun as they experience the magic of camp. You will get to test out your skills with day or resident campers. All CIT 1 programs run from 6/27/2021-7/9/2021. You can also find the link to the CIT 2 application below.
